Biography
Happy
To Be Here is Andrew's second album (see discography below),
it was written and recorded over the last two years in Los Angeles where
Andrew also resides. It features the drumming of the incomparable Ric
Menck (Velvet Crush/Matthew Sweet, etc.) and the bass
stylings of David Nolte (The Last/Maria Mckee/David Gray).
The album was produced by Andrew with Brian Kehew (who is one
half of the Moog Cookbook) and was orchestrated by Roger Neill
(Air/Jason Falkner/CQ). It also features Tom Dawes (of the
Cyrkle), Dave Amels (Stepford Husbands/Optic Nerve
and many other good things), Jim Laspesa (Muffs/Green Jello)
and Duke (a cat that belongs to Andrew's next door neighbor). The
album is the best kind of pop: well-written concise songs with great
production and a totally sincere approach. Love it and live it, be happy
and enjoy.
